SHANE NICHOLETTI
Qigong
A lifetime in the martial and internal arts
From the age of six, Shane Nicholetti has been a student of the martial arts. He began in Shotokan Karate, and not long after moved into Shaolin Kempo Karate, Kung Fu, and Qigong, studying well into his early twenties. In 2018 he trained toward an amateur fighting career in Muay Thai, training in Thailand. In 2020 he returned to the internal arts, reconnecting with his practice of Qigong and Taiji.
After the passing of his mentor, Sifu Neil MacPherson, Shane has continued his study of Qigong and Taiji with his current teacher, Master Steve Jackowicz, since 2025. He is now working toward certification in Medical Qigong and Qigong Healing, and toward his Daoist initiation.
Dr. Stephen Jackowicz is a 19th-generation inheritor of the Longmen Pai lineage in the Zhang Yuanfu line, passed down from Grandmaster Zhang Yuanming, a teacher Shane has also had the honor of periodically studying under directly.
Qigong is the cultivation of breath, stillness, and internal energy, a discipline refined across centuries and passed carefully from teacher to student.
Shane is also a gifted medium and psychic. The same stillness and disciplined breath built through decades in the martial and internal arts are what allow him to hold space clearly for Spirit, and for the people who sit with him, whether in the tattoo chair or in a reading.
